Exhibición de trabajos de los niños de "El Club del Niño" - Exhibition of artworks of the children of "El Club del Niño" (2022)

 Este año ha sido muy especial para mi porque volví a un trabajo que realmente amaba. Me dieron la oportunidad y la tomé sin dudas. Se trata de mi taller de artes plásticas en una organización social para niños llamada "Club del Niño". Allí estoy a cargo de la enseñanza a pequeños con edades que van de 9 a 11 años. La propuesta anual fue llevar el POP ART hacia nuestra cultura local de la ciudad, para así entonces pintar   algunos retratos de destacados músicos, artistas plásticos, escritores y poetas de la escena local Rochense. 

Ayer fue la exhibición de sus trabajos en el "Centro Cultural MEM" y tomé algunas fotos para compartir con ustedes.

This year has been very special for me because I returned to a job that I really loved. They gave me the opportunity and I took it without a doubt. It´s about my plastic arts workshop in a social organization for children called "Club del Niño". There I´m in charge of teaching children with ages ranging from 9 to 11 years. The annual proposal was to bring POP ART to our local culture in the city, in order to then paint some portraits of outstanding musicians, plastic artists, writers and poets from the local Rochense scene.

Yesterday was the exhibition of his works at the "Centro Cultural MEM" and I took some photos to share with you.

I want to present this material that has remained hidden for quite some time. 

This is "Rockandosis", my teenage rock´nroll band, with it we released two studio albums. 

In this video we appear playing "Loca" live in a recital of important national and international bands called "Bahía Rock III", in the beautiful beaches of La Paloma, Rocha, Uruguay, summer of 2010. What a hot evening!

"Masters of Blues" - Series of Drawings

Ésta vez no se trata de pinturas, sino de dibujos a trazo rápido. Les presento la Serie "Masters of Blues, Drawings", basada en grandes talentos del blues (algunos de ellos olvidados por el público), raíces personales en lo musical, y que también tienen que ver con la historia de los Rolling Stones.
Espero les guste ésta nueva faceta de mi arte.

This time it's not about paintings, but about quick-stroke drawings. In this case I present to you the Series "Masters of Blues, Drawings", based on great blues talents (some of them forgotten by the public), personal roots in the musical, and that also have to do with the history of the Rolling Stones.
I hope you like this new facet of my art.

10 años del blog / 10th Anniversary´s blog

Hace 10 años, en invierno de 2010, comencé con mi propio emprendimiento, pintando y compartiendo arte, referido a los Rolling Stones. 

Así nació este blogspot inicial. Tratando acuarelas y tinta china, pluma y pinceles. Mundial mediante, Sudáfrica, vaya recuerdo para nosotros los uruguayos!
Hoy el blog celebra su aniversario, con más de 30900 visitas desde todas partes del planeta e importando arte para países como Francia, Italia, España, Inglaterra, Chile, Brasil, Argentina y dejando algunas también en el Uruguay.
Lo más destacado fue haber enviado una de mis más importantes obras, directamente a manos de un Rolling Stone, el bajista de la banda, Bill Wyman.
También hice grandes amigos y tuve historias increíbles, entre ellas, la visita de un fan argentino con una pintura de mi autoría estampada en una remera, a la tumba de Brian Jones, en Cheltenham, Inglaterra.
La música de los más grandes, y sus raíces de Chicago y Delta, siguen en vidriera por el mundo virtual.
A modo de homenaje, celebro con estas piezas encuadradas en Francia (son sólo algunas), en la colección privada de "HMN", entre un océano de preciados y exclusivos ítems relacionados a la majestuosa banda británica.
Desde este pequeño pueblo uruguayo, Ciudad de Rocha, para el mundo.

10 years ago, in the winter of 2010, I started my own way, painting and sharing art, referring to the Rolling Stones.
So this initial blogspot was born. Treating watercolors and China ink, pen and brushes. World Cup through, South Africa, what a memory for us Uruguayans!
Today the blog celebrates its anniversary, with more than 30,900 visits from all over the planet and importing art for countries such as France, Italy, Spain, England, Chile, Brazil, Argentina and leaving some also here in Uruguay.
The highlight was having sent one of my most important works, directly to a Rolling Stone, the bassist Bill Wyman.
I also made great friends and had incredible stories, including the visit of an Argentine fan with a painting of my authorship stamped on a T-shirt, to the grave of Brian Jones, in Cheltenham, England.
The music of the greatest, and its roots in Chicago and Delta, are still on display in the virtual world.
As a tribute, I celebrate with these pieces framed in France, in the private collection of "HMN", among an ocean of precious and exclusive items related to the majestic British band.
From this small Uruguayan town, Ciudad de Rocha, to the world.
